OUT NOW: Post-Jam Prototype


This is a big one, folks! We are so thrilled to bring you the full prototype of Ecotone. This is finally the build that truly demonstrates the core mechanics that make this game tick, as well as new art, animation, quality-of-life features, and more.

New features:
-CARD MOVEMENT! New cards move the cards around them, relocate in response to other cards, or gain points when moved. Use this new power wisely!
-Option to purge cards as your bonus
-New quality-of-life features: Card powers now display symbols for the types they affect, pop-up tells you when your deck is empty, view card details from the card selection screen, and more
-Balance adjustments. Level targets are now quadratic instead of linear--easier at the beginning, harder at the end
-Many new cards with unique, exciting abilities
-New between-level animation. More to come!
-And best of all: Preview the wonderful watercolor creature art from our artist-naturalist, Kelly Brenner!

There are currently a few visual and interface bugs that we're aware of:

-6-card rotation has a janky animation
-Doesn't automatically end the level if your final play is a 6-card rotation
-Occasionally redeals your starting hand
-Occasionally won't let you select a card or cards (can still drag and place)
We'll be patching these issues in the upcoming weeks. Be sure to report any other issues you notice and we'll look into them as soon as we can.
